Dr. Camba was born and raised in Augusta, GA. He attended college at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with High Honor. Following college, he attended dental school at the Dental College of Georgia (formerly MCG/GRU) where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was honored to graduate with the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award in Endodontics and the American Equilibration Society Outstanding Senior Award. Following dental school, Dr. Camba completed a general practice residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle where he received advanced training with medically complex patients, surgical procedures, sedations, and hospital dentistry.
He then returned to the Dental College of Georgia for his specialty training in Endodontics where he served as chief resident and was awarded the Dr. Connie L. Drisko Dental Resident Professionalism Award. He performed research on calcium hydroxide and irrigation which has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at the AAE annual meeting. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Camba is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics having earned his board certification in 2021. In his free time, Dr. Camba enjoys soccer, golf, exercising, concerts, traveling, dining, cheering on his Atlanta sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
