Dr.Howard

Dr. Cameron Howard is originally from Marietta, GA. He attended Furman University (Greenville, SC) on a full scholarship, and graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Continuing his studies, Dr. Howard earned his D.M.D. at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY) and graduated with High Distinction as Class President.

For his endodontic training, Dr. Howard attended Nova Southeastern University (Fort Lauderdale, FL) where he earned his Certificate in Endodontics and his Masters of Science in Dentistry. While in residency, Dr. Howard completed a surgical externship at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain). Dr. Howard has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including The Journal of Endodontics.

Dr. Howard is very active within the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), having served as a Trustee on the AAE Foundation Board, a past Chairman of the Resident and New Practitioners Committee and a member of the Regenerative Endodontics Committee. Dr. Howard currently serves as a member of the AAE Annual Session Planning Committee and is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and the Hinman Dental Society. He earned his Board Certification in Endodontics in 2013. He has performed over 28,000 root canals treatments in his clinical career.

Dr. Howard believes in giving back through dentistry and has gone on many international dental mission trips to Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, and Honduras. More locally, Dr. Howard volunteers at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic in Atlanta, GA where he performs endodontic treatments for the underserved. He also gives of his time by mentoring and teaching dental students at the Massell Dental Clinic through his appointment as an Associate Professor at Georgia Regents University.

Dr. Howard is married to his high school sweetheart, Haley. They have five beautiful children.
